Project Details
- Project Title: “Urban Heat and Pollution-Driven Multi-Omics Insights into Ocular Morbidity in Delhi Heat Islands”
- Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Ramkishor Sah, Scientist, Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences.
- Nature of Job: Purely temporary and contractual positions.
- Core Research Focus: Investigating how urban heat and environmental pollution impact eye health (ocular morbidity) in Delhi’s urban heat islands using advanced multi-omics insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Omics Research: Assist in conducting advanced molecular, biochemical, or microbiological analyses (such as genomics, transcriptomics, or metabolomics) related to ocular tissue or fluid samples.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Monitor, collect, and analyze environmental data regarding urban heat islands and pollution levels in Delhi, correlating them with clinical ocular morbidity data.
- Experimental Execution: Perform laboratory techniques in biotechnology, molecular biology, or biochemistry as required by the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of experimental protocols, research findings, and data logs for project reporting and journal publications.
Qualification
- Essential Qualification: B Pharma from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualification: Candidates should be qualified in at least one National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET/DBTBET/ICMR-JRF, GATE, or other Government-recognized national examinations).
