Job Description
The Vaccine Cold Chain Manager will be responsible for supporting district-level immunisation activities by monitoring vaccine storage systems, maintaining cold chain equipment, ensuring uninterrupted vaccine supply, coordinating with healthcare facilities, and supporting digital vaccine management systems.
The selected candidates will work closely with district health authorities to strengthen routine immunisation programmes and improve vaccine logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vaccine cold chain systems across assigned districts.
- Ensure proper vaccine storage and temperature maintenance.
- Coordinate vaccine logistics and supply chain activities.
- Support routine immunisation programmes.
- Maintain vaccine inventory records.
- Monitor cold chain equipment performance.
- Coordinate with district health officials and healthcare facilities.
- Prepare reports on vaccine distribution and utilisation.
- Support the implementation of digital vaccine management systems such as e-VIN.
- Ensure uninterrupted vaccine availability at all healthcare facilities.
Qualification
Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognised university:
- B.Pharm
- D.Pharm
OR
- Any Degree with prior experience in e-VIN Operations
Required Experience
- Candidates should have a Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience at the district level in the health sector.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:
- Vaccine Supply Chain Management
- Cold Chain Management
- Public Health Systems
- Information Technology-driven Health Projects
- Immunisation Programme Management
