Job Description
Applications are invited for filling the following posts on a purely contractual basis for the research project titled “Development of a non-invasive CRISPR-based salivary cell-free DNA diagnostic test for pediatric pulmonary tuberculosis” funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), New Delhi, under the supervision of Dr. Indu Verma, Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the ANRF-funded research project.
- Perform laboratory research and molecular biology experiments.
- Assist in CRISPR-based diagnostic development.
- Conduct scientific research activities related to tuberculosis.
- Maintain research documentation and laboratory records.
- Support the Principal Investigator in project execution.
Qualification
Candidates should possess any one of the following:
- B.Pharm or equivalent
Experience Required
- Two years of experience in Research & Development in Industrial or Academic Institutions, Science Organizations, and Scientific Activities & Technology Services.
Salary
As per ANRF guidelines:
Category 1
₹42,000 + HRA per month
Applicable to candidates who have:
- CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), or
- GATE, or
- Selection through National-Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments, Agencies, or Institutions.
Category 2
₹33,000 + HRA per month
- For candidates who do not fall under the above category.
