Project Details
- Project/Project: Expansion of INSACOG–Wastewater Surveillance of SARS-CoV-2, Emerging Pathogens, and Antimicrobial Resistance through Genomics-Based Methods
- PI: Dr. Bhabatosh Das
- Project Focus: Genomics-based surveillance and monitoring of infectious diseases
- Key Area: Wastewater surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 and emerging pathogens
- Research Scope: Study of antimicrobial resistance using advanced genomics techniques
- Techniques Involved: Multi-omics, microbiology, and environmental biology
- Sample Handling: Collection and processing of environmental samples
- Laboratory Work: Microbial culture and analysis
- Objective: Strengthening public health surveillance through genomic data
Qualifications
- M.Pharm
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification research experience
- Experience in microbiology, multi-omics, or environmental biology
Monthly Emoluments
- Rs. 35,000/- + HRA for scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR – UGC NET, including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Department and their agencies and institutions.
- Rs. 28,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above criteria.
Walk-in Interview Details
- Interview Date: 12th May 2026
- Candidates who wish to appear virtually must send a request via email to the PI before 7th May 2026 with the subject: ‘Request for online Interview for the post of Project Associate-II.’
Note
- The candidates must bring their latest resume, one set of photocopies of documents supporting their educational qualification and experience, along with originals and a valid ID card for verification.
- Candidates coming after the time slot mentioned will not be entertained.
- All candidates coming for the written test/skill test/interview are mandatorily required to deposit their mobile phone along with valid ID proof at the reception, returned on completion of the selection process.
