Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors/master’s degree in pharmacy/life sciences/pharmaceutical management is required.
- Relevant experience of 0-1 years in the biopharma, healthcare, market research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for actively seeking out information about drugs, clinical trials.
- Continuously track key events across the pharmaceutical and biotech sector, including trial initiations/completions, regulatory designations, approvals, safety updates, partnerships, and market launches.
- Ensure accurate mapping of drug details such as active ingredient, molecule type, indication, development phase, clinical trial progress, regulatory status, and commercial updates, using secondary market research and public sources/press releases, quarterly earning calls.
- Collecting and analyzing pharmaceutical data, maintaining and updating StreetAccount Drug Database, along with creating content for drug profiles and assisting with market forecasting.
- Monitor various news publications and industry websites to identify and collect data on drug companies, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships.
- Validate and cross-check data to ensure consistency across sources.
- Maintain database integrity by following established editorial and data entry guidelines.
- Flag discrepancies, resolve conflicts, and escalate unclear cases when necessary.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of drug research, development, and commercialization processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English.
