Job Description
The Executive Quality Control role at Abbott involves critical responsibilities that ensure the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products. The position holder will be tasked with the analysis of stability samples and finished products as per respective Standard Testing Procedures (STP) and specifications. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of the hormone block quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of stability samples and finished products according to respective STP/specifications in the Quality Control of the hormone block.
- Calibration of routine usage instruments such as balances, pH meters, and conductivity meters as required.
- Timely analysis of stability samples (hormone block) and reporting of any abnormalities observed.
- Timely charging and withdrawal of samples from stability chambers and their documentation within the required timeframe.
- Sample reconciliation and destruction record of stability samples.
- Implementation of GLP/GMP requirements.
- Coordinating and aligning practices and procedures in line with COBC requirements.
- Stability sample charging, withdrawal, reconciliation, and data entry in software such as LIMS.
- Completion of assigned GLP/GMP training on time.
- Reporting of stability/finished product samples as per reports received from outside laboratories and checking compliance against respective specifications.
- Evaluating analysis results as per SOP and reporting any abnormalities to the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Pharm / M.Sc. degree.
- 2-4 years of experience in Quality Control.
- Familiarity with CAPA and GMP documentation.
- Exposure to regulatory audits (MHRA, USFDA).
