Job Description
In this pharma scientist job, you will contribute to the development and application of mechanistic disease models to support scientific and drug development decisions. The role involves designing predictive disease models, integrating preclinical and clinical data, performing simulations, and generating insights that guide discovery and early clinical development programs.
This job requires close collaboration with pharmacokinetics, biology, clinical, and data science teams to translate complex biological questions into quantitative modeling strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply mechanistic disease models to support drug development
- Perform model development, calibration, qualification, and simulations
- Integrate preclinical, clinical, and literature data into predictive models
- Generate and analyze simulation outputs to support decision-making
- Collaborate with biology, PKS, clinical, and data science teams
- Support target validation, biomarker research, and study design activities
- Improve modeling workflows, tools, and best practices
- Communicate modeling results to multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to scientific reports, presentations, and publications
- Stay updated on advances in disease modeling and quantitative pharmacology
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Ph.D. in Pharmacology with relevant experience may also be considered
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in disease modeling, systems pharmacology, PK/PD modeling, QSP, PBPK/PD, or related fields
