Requirements:
- Background in formulation development of solid oral dosage forms, from development to regulatory submission.
- Experience in regulated markets (US/EU/Canada) with strong knowledge of GMP, ICH guidelines, IP, and bioequivalence requirements

The Opportunity
As a Formulation Researcher, you will work as a bench scientist with strong analytical acumen in formulation research and development, process development, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property for global markets. You will contribute to all stages of product development, from selection to launch, applying scientific principles of QbD, DoE, statistics, and scale-up strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting experiments aligned with project milestones.
- Literature review, prior art evaluation, and proof of concept experiments.
- Identifying challenges, risks, and bottlenecks in development and suggesting mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (MS&T, QA, QC, and Production) for technology transfer and timely execution.
- Supporting decision-making through effective communication and data interpretation.
- Ensuring alignment with BU KPIs and organizational initiatives.
- Assisting leaders in business process evaluation and continuous improvement.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Conduct formulation development trials in alignment with QbD and DoE principles.
- Prepare and present development progress at all product stages.
- Perform literature reviews, evaluate excipients, and conduct preformulation studies.
- Execute pilot BE batches, scale-up, and exhibit batches with cross-functional teams.
- Identify QTPP, CQAs, and CPAs for effective experimentation.
- Establish stability data in collaboration with analytical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, including master protocols, sampling plans, and stability reports.
- Collaborate with sourcing, regulatory, production, and clinical teams for smooth product development.
- Manage deviations, SOP updates, and regulatory documentation for submissions.
