The Safety Science Coordinator I will assist with the overall Clinical Safety and/or PSS operations associated with products, including managing the entire adverse events process. This includes processing expedited adverse events and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of Expedited Safety Reports (ESRs) and Periodic Safety Reports (PSRs).
- Maintain adverse event tracking systems and project files.
- Assist with the reporting of ESRs and PSRs within specified timelines.
- Log incoming Adverse Event (AE)/Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports into the tracking application.
- Enter safety data into adverse event tracking systems.
- Write patient narratives and accurately code adverse events using MedDRA.
- Generate queries for missing or discrepant information in consultation with medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with governing regulatory requirements and applicable study/project specific plans.
Fortrea Pune Jobs: Eligibility Criteria
- Non-Degree or 1-2 years of Safety experience or relevant experience.
- Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year of Safety experience or relevant experience.
- BS/BA with 0-6 months to 1 year of Safety experience or relevant experience.
- MS/MA with 0-6 months of Safety experience or relevant experience.
- PharmD with 0-6 months of Safety experience or relevant experience.
- For PharmD, a one-year residency or fellowship can be considered as relevant experience.
- Speaking and writing proficiency in English and the local language.
Required Skills
- Good team player with the ability to offer peer support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and standard office equipment.
- Logical and spelling skills, particularly for handling numerical data.
