Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy
- Advanced knowledge and experience in pharmacovigilance and patient safety preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage country-level patient safety activities and pharmacovigilance processes
- Oversee safety systems, databases, and reporting for compliance with local regulations
- Conduct audits, inspections, and cross-functional collaboration to meet patient safety requirements
- Maintain oversight of safety-related processes, including product risk management plans
- Support creation and implementation of local risk management and minimization plans
- Manage and train internal staff and external vendors in patient safety procedures
- Ensure timely reporting of ICSRs, follow-up cases, and other safety documents
- Implement Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) and maintain Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF)
- Contribute to local and global patient safety projects, audits, and inspections
Skills Required:
- Strong pharmacovigilance and Good Pharmacovigilance Practice knowledge
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and patient safety systems (e.g., Argus, JASPER, Orbit)
- Data analysis, problem-solving, and vendor management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, written, and verbal communication
- Leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Audit, inspection, and project management experience
