About the Company
This IAEA-supported research project is conducted at St. John’s Research Institute (SJRI). a research institute. The study evaluates the impact of chronic inflammation on iron balance using stable iron isotope dilution methods. Participants are recruited from hospital-based clinics and followed longitudinally to generate high-quality clinical, nutritional, and laboratory data. The project integrates clinical, laboratory, and field research, offering valuable exposure to clinico-social research methodologies. This Research Assistant Job role plays a significant role in the company.
Educational Requirements

BSc or MSc in Pharmacology
Key Responsibilities for Research Assistant Job
- Recruit eligible participants from hospital clinics and obtain informed consent
- Maintain regular follow-up and ensure adherence to study timelines
- Build strong rapport with clinic staff and study participants
- Maintain accurate and well-organised study documentation and records
- Coordinate sample collection, transport, and storage as per protocol
- Assist in laboratory procedures related to iron isotope dilution studies (training provided)
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and study SOPs
Skills Required
