Job Description
In this Research Job at Novartis Career, the selected candidate will support drug substance (DS) and drug product (DP) development activities by planning, executing, and documenting scientific experiments. The role involves analytical method development, method validation, method transfer, dissolution testing, stability studies, and formulation development analytics. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory documentation, ensuring compliance with GLP and GDP requirements, supporting data analysis and investigations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. The position also involves contributing to laboratory operations, maintaining analytical instruments, and supporting the preparation of scientific and regulatory documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and perform scientific experiments for DS and DP development
- Execute analytical method development, validation, and transfer activities
- Conduct dissolution, stability, and release testing studies
- Maintain laboratory documentation and raw data records
- Support formulation development projects
- Evaluate and interpret analytical results
- Investigate deviations, OOX events, and change controls
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GDP, and quality standards
- Support laboratory instrument maintenance
- Contribute to scientific and regulatory documentation
Eligibility Criteria for the Research Job
- Education: M.Pharm, M.Sc
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical research, analytical development, formulation development, or laboratory-based R&D activities.
