Job Description
The selected candidate will work on the following project sponsored by ICMR: ‘Establishing an innovative non-invasive in vivo model for Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media and its treatment using hemocompatible carbon quantum dots’ .
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of Prof. Jayati Ray Dutta (PI), Prof. R. Ganesan (Co-PI), and Dr. Nagajyothi K. (Co-PI – Senior Medical Officer, BITS Hyderabad campus).
- Conduct research activities aligned with the ICMR project objectives.
- Utilize experience in animal handling for the in vivo model.
Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements
- Education: 1st division in M.Pharm / M.Sc. / M.E / M.Tech in Biological Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology.
- Preferences: Candidates with a valid NET/GATE qualification will be given preference. Also, candidates with experience in animal handling is desired and will be given preference.
- Maximum age limit: 29 years.
Salary & Fellowship
- Fellowship amount: Rs. 56,000/- (for the first two years) and Rs. 63,000/- (from the third year) per month for NET/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates.
- HRA may be provided as applicable.
- Note: Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program of BITS, Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements.
