About the Sandoz Job
Sandoz is seeking a Scientist – Pharmaceutical Development to join its Research & Development division in Telangana, India. The selected candidate will independently design and execute scientific experiments, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure GMP compliance while supporting innovation in pharmaceutical development.
Key Responsibilities of the Scientist Job at Sandoz
- Plan, organize, and document scientific experiments and GMP testing with minimal supervision.
- Handle specialized instruments, tools, and facilities, ensuring maintenance and qualification.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational challenges proactively.
- Maintain documentation of raw data, evaluate experimental results, and propose next steps.
- Write and review protocols, scientific reports, and SOPs according to regulatory standards.
- Develop or optimize methods and processes for lab or plant operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, environmental, and data integrity standards.
- Train and mentor associate scientists and technicians.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and contribute to technology transfer, scale-up, and registration documentation.
- Lead local technical meetings and present findings within Sandoz’s global development network.
Educational Qualification
- M.Pharm with 2–5 years of relevant experience or
- PhD with 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation or development.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of GMP, process simulation, and materials science.
- Expertise in experiment design, SOP writing, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment handling and maintenance.
- Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.
