Job Description
As part of Colgate-Palmolive Careers, this Scientist Job involves leading end-to-end formulation development, new product development, pilot plant operations, technology transfer, and regulatory compliance. The selected candidate will support innovation, product quality, consumer-focused research, and continuous improvement initiatives while working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead formulation development for new and existing products.
- Execute laboratory batches, pilot plant batches, and aging studies.
- Ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Support new product development and technology transfer.
- Apply scientific data analysis and statistical approaches to formulation development.
- Develop impactful product claims using consumer insights.
- Lead supplier qualification programs for raw materials and packaging.
- Collaborate with commercial and supply chain teams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial experience in formulation development.
- Experience in Oral Care, Personal Care, or Home Care product development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
- Knowledge of Soap Making, Surfactants, Oils, and Fats.
- Strong business understanding and cross-functional collaboration skills
