Job Description
The Lead Scientist – Bioanalysis will participate in sample processing for pharmacokinetics (PK) and ADME assays, handling LCMS/MS, and optimizing test compounds. The role requires documenting lab notebooks online and managing compound samples effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in sample processing for PK studies and ADME assays.
- Optimize test compounds on LCMS/MS, both manually and automatically.
- Independently handle HPLC for UV-based sample analysis.
- Document lab notebooks online and manage compound samples.
- Ensure compliance with Syngene’s safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of safe operating procedures and practices.
- Drive a corporate culture that promotes health, safety, and sustainability.
- Review and govern safety metrics regularly.
Eligibility Criteria
- Foundational experience in handling ADME assays, HPLC, and LCMS/MS.
- M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmaceutical Analysis.
Required Skills
- Expertise in column selection, mobile phase selection, and sample processing techniques.
- Ability to develop and validate LC-MS based qualitative/quantitative methods.
- Basic understanding of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics.
- Capability to deliver scientific presentations and write project reports.
- General understanding of preventative maintenance for HPLC and mass spectrometry.
- Familiarity with internet-based literature searches.
- Understanding of Mass/UV Spectra interpretation.
