Senior Research Fellow INST Mohali: Job Description
In this Senior Research Fellow INST Mohali role, the fellow will work on a project titled “Effect of unani formulations (Dawa-e-Sahaj, Jawarish-e-Mastagi, Qurs-e-Gul) for Inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome activation: A strategy to mitigate inflammation for the therapy of Ulcerative Colitis disease.” This role involves conducting research and contributing to the project’s objectives under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Rehan Khan.
Senior Research Fellow INST Mohali Eligibility
- Essential Qualification: M. Pharm with not less than 60% marks or CGPA 8.0 or more, and one publication in an SCI-indexed/Scopus-indexed journal.
- Research Experience: At least one year of wet lab research experience is required.
- Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates.
- Age Limit: Must not be over 32 years as of 15 October 2026, relaxable for certain reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Fellowship
Amount: Rs 42,000/- per month + 18% HRA
Duration: Initially six months, extendable based on performance and availability of funds.
General Terms and Conditions
- The position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis, co-terminus with the project.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates must present original documents of age proof, certificates, degrees, mark sheets, and other testimonials along with self-attested photocopies at the time of the interview.
