    In Syngene formulation jobs, the Lead Scientist is responsible for conducting physicochemical properties assessment through pre-formulation studies for new chemical entities (NCEs), formulation development, and stability studies to support pre-clinical pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacology (PD), and toxicology (safety) studies. The role requires good knowledge of biopharmaceutics risk assessment studies of drug substances and products, as well as assisting in oral drug product development for clinical studies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Physicochemical properties assessment through pre-formulation studies for new chemical entities (NCEs). Handling and good knowledge on various analytical tools/instruments used in drug discovery and formulation development work.
    • Formulation development, feasibility, and stability studies to support pre-clinical pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacology (PD), and toxicology (safety) studies.
    • Good knowledge/understanding of the biopharmaceutics risk assessment (in vitro) studies of drug substances and drug products.
    • Assist in oral drug product development to support clinical studies, including oral solution, suspension, tablet, and capsule dosage forms.
    • Good knowledge/understanding of solid state characterization of drug substances.
    • Record, summarize, and present experimental data/results appropriately and assist in drafting relevant scientific/technical reports.
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office and basic scientific software/tools used in drug discovery and formulation development workspace.
    • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams while exhibiting the core values of the department and company.

    Eligibility for Syngene Formulation Jobs

    Educational Qualifications & Experience: M. Pharm or M.S. in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Chemistry with 3 – 5 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in Pharmaceutics.
