Education:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Experience:
3–7 years in Oral Dosage Formulations.
Formulation Scientist Job – Key Responsibilities
- Plan and strategize product development, executing and recording in E-Lab notebook.
- Proactively identify challenges and suggest solutions.
- Collaborate with analytical teams for batch and data analysis.
- Prepare documentation for license applications and pilot plant batch executions.
- Present biweekly project status to the delivery manager.
- Coordinate with process teams to optimize trials, present at the plant, and conduct scale-up activities.
- Support filing of products, deficiency responses, and submission of samples for pharmaceutical or clinical studies.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and regulatory systems.
Formulation Scientist Job – Technical Skills:
- Experience with differentiated solid oral dosage forms, modified release pellets, and matrix formulations.
- Hands-on expertise in lab-scale and plant-scale equipment for oral solids and liquids.
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines, cGMP, cGLP, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
