Teva QC Technician Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and validating analytical methods related to nitrosamine impurity testing for drug substances and drug products. The Teva QC Technician role requires hands-on experience in laboratory work, instrument handling, documentation, compliance, and support for critical quality control studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate analytical methods for nitrosamines-related activities using LCMS, GCMS, and IC under guidance from senior team members.
- Manage samples received from different sites for the Nitrosamine project.
- Test samples for nitrosamines-related activities.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments for difficulties faced during day-to-day operations.
- Support laboratory readiness by maintaining columns, standards, chemicals, spares, consumables, and other prerequisites.
- Prepare analytical protocols, reports, and technical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine instrument operation, calibration, and maintenance activities, and escalate issues for troubleshooting.
- Ensure accurate documentation of instrument usage, calibration records, and compliance.
- Follow EHS guidelines and maintain safe laboratory practices.
- Maintain laboratory compliance and data integrity during daily operations.
- Participate in internal audits and contribute to readiness for external inspections.
Teva QC Technician Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Pharm.
- Good knowledge of analytical chemistry, especially analytical method development and validation for nitrosamine impurities in drug substance and drug product.
- Ability to conduct literature searches for the development of analytical methods.
- Familiarity with computerized systems such as TrackWise and Veeva Vault.
- Experience in cGMP/GLP environments and regulatory-compliant documentation.
- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems and ICH guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation.
- Good to have: Hands-on experience with Mass Hunter Software.
