Thermo Fisher Medical Writer Job Description
The Thermo Fisher Medical Writer will be responsible for developing high-quality medical and scientific documents, interpreting clinical study data, coordinating document development, and supporting internal and external clients throughout the writing and review process. The selected candidate will contribute to medical and scientific writing activities from planning through final document delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary author for routine clinical and scientific documents.
- Prepare and contribute to Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and study protocols.
- Summarize and accurately interpret clinical study data.
- Assist with complex clinical, scientific, and program-level documents.
- Support documentation such as Investigator’s Brochures (IBs), INDs, and MAAs.
- Ensure assigned documents meet applicable quality processes and requirements.
- Help identify effective methods and best practices for document development.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or an equivalent relevant academic/vocational qualification is required. Relevant fields may include Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, or related scientific disciplines.
- Experience: Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment is preferred.
