THSTI Research Scientist Job Description
The Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst) will contribute to the establishment and operationalization of a bioanalytical laboratory, including the development of analytical workflows, laboratory processes, and documentation systems. In this THSTI Research Scientist Job, the candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining LC-MS/MS and HPLC systems, ensuring reliable analytical performance, and supporting instrument qualification and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the establishment of a bioanalytical laboratory.
- Prepare and implement SOPs, laboratory practices, and quality-compliant procedures.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and HPLC systems.
- Support instrument qualification, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare method development, validation, and analytical protocols.
- Execute regulatory bioanalytical validations aligned with national and international guidance.
- Perform routine bioanalysis of clinical and preclinical PK study samples.
- Generate analytical summaries and bioanalytical study reports.
Eligibility for THSTI Research Scientist Job
- Master’s degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or any branch of chemical or life sciences from a recognized university.
- At least four years of post-qualification experience in LC-MS/MS based bioanalysis.
- Experience in bioanalytical method development, validation, and analysis in a regulatory-compliant laboratory.
- Familiarity with bioanalytical regulatory guidance and laboratory quality systems.
