Job Description
The Walk-In Interview for Research Jobs is being conducted for the selection of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) with fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT, etc. Candidates selected through this Walk-In Interview will initially work for two years as JRF and may be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the remaining three years based on satisfactory performance as per CSIR-UGC guidelines. A monthly stipend and allowances will be provided as per the CSIR-UGC-NET policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct defence-related research activities
- Perform laboratory experiments and scientific analysis
- Assist scientists in ongoing research jobs at DRDE
- Maintain research documentation and reports
- Support R&D projects under DRDO programs
Qualifications Required for this Walk-In Interview
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Chemistry
- First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Physical / Analytical / Organic / Inorganic)
- Must hold a JRF fellowship from UGC / CSIR / ICMR / DBT, etc.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Biological Sciences
First Class M.Sc. in Biological Stream, including:
- Life Sciences
- Zoology
- Biotechnology
- Molecular Biology
- Microbiology
- Pharmacology
- Toxicology
- Immunology
