Quality Assurance Manager Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining company-wide quality standards across manufacturing and distribution activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating standard operating procedures, coordinating internal and external audits, reviewing batch records and documentation, and investigating quality issues or deviations. The role also involves leading corrective and preventive actions, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, R&D, and regulatory affairs, and training team members on quality policies and best practices. The Quality Assurance Manager will monitor key quality metrics, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure that all products meet established specifications for safety, efficacy, and reliability.
