Job Overview:
This Biomedical Sciences Jobs opportunity at Parexel Jobs involves working as a Patient Safety Associate I, supporting drug safety and medical monitoring activities. The role includes handling safety reports, assisting in regulatory submissions, performing literature reviews, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Key Accountabilities
1. Pharmacovigilance & ICSR Processing:
Handle Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), including data entry, literature review, ADR documentation, MedDRA coding, validation, and follow-ups while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Safety Submissions & Compliance:
Monitor and submit safety reports to regulatory authorities, maintain submission timelines, prepare documentation (EDMS/eTMF), and support audits and inspections.
3. Literature Review & Signal Detection:
Conduct literature searches, screen scientific data for adverse drug reactions and safety signals, perform quality checks, and update databases and search strategies.
4. Regulatory Support & Collaboration:
Support regulatory submissions and intelligence activities, manage product safety data, coordinate with global affiliates, and ensure adherence to SOPs, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
Education
- Master’s in Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacy) or equivalent qualification/work experience.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in healthcare environments is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology.
- Ability to learn ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interest in Pharma Careers and pharmacovigilance.
Skills Required
- Foundational knowledge of pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with safety databases and MS Office.
