- Post: Project Assistant
- Salary: Rs. 25,000 Per Month (fixed)
- Nature of Job: Contractual
- Essential Qualifications: Master’s in any branch of Sciences (Life Science/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Physics/Microbiology/Agriculture and allied subjects) and Technology /M.Tech/ MPharm or equivalent with experience in Teaching/Research/Industry.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Strong interest and passion for research and innovation; applying knowledge towards the creation of enterprises for nurturing technology innovation/entrepreneurship.
- Hands-on experience in analytical instruments, working on BSL-2 laboratory, animal handling, etc. is preferred.
- Work experience and/or qualifications in business management/IP management/project management/law and agreements/tech transfer/incubation would be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in scientific writing/content development.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with stringent deadlines.
- Open to traveling for organizing summits/collaborative and outreach programs.
Age Limit: The candidate must not exceed 35 years on the last date of application. Age may be relaxed for experienced and well-qualified candidates.
Project Assistant Job Description
The Project Assistant will act under the guidance of the Project Coordinator/Chief Coordinator/Principal Project Investigators of the BIRAC E-YUVA Project. Responsibilities include providing administrative and scientific support to the centre, maintaining laboratory operations, monitoring laboratory instruments, managing project finances, and assisting in organizing seminars and workshops. The assistant will also help with writing research proposals, business plans, and fundraising activities, along with other tasks assigned by the project leadership.
