Job Description
The Certara Data Analyst job entails the interpretation of clinical trial data across various therapeutic areas and actively contributing to the development of database products that support informed decision-making at various stages of clinical development and post-approval phases using modeling and simulation approaches. The role necessitates a profound knowledge of pharmacology and clinical research, along with experience in the development and process of clinical databases for conducting systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the development of clinical database products in various therapeutic areas, ensuring high quality that supports meta-analysis.
- Analyze and annotate information pertaining to trial design, treatments, demographics, and outcomes data from clinical literature.
- Digitize results from graphs for outcomes reported on linear, logarithmic, and semi-log scales with precision.
- Work with lead consultants, peer data analysts, and quality managers to understand and contribute to database rules, specifications, and quality processes.
- Undergo relevant training programs to enhance skills in statistics, R coding, systematic literature review, and data analysis methods.
Certara Data Analyst Job Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s in Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics (with relevant experience), Pharm D, Clinical Practice, or Master’s in Public Health and Epidemiology.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in information science, systematic literature review, health economics, and public health sectors; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical research is essential.
- Familiarity with clinical development and post-approval phases, PICOS approach, trial designs, and pharmaceutical industry data standards/ontologies.
