Qualification: B.Pharm or B.Sc (Chemistry)

Experience: 1–5 years in packing operations with knowledge of QMS, equipment qualification, and GMP documentation
Key Accountabilities:
1. Shift Execution & Resource Management
- Execute shift packing activities while minimizing machine micro-stoppages.
- Optimize shift resources to meet production output.
- Regulate consumable usage to save costs.
2. Documentation & Compliance
- Review packing activity documentation and monitor standard packing parameters as per BPR.
- Track critical in-process parameters like NFD, camera challenge, RH temperature.
- Maintain system integrity by updating online documentation.
- Perform equipment qualification and calibration as per schedule.
3. Manufacturing Records & Data Management
- Prepare manufacturing records and update online documentation using SAP and CipDox.
- Create new documents and update existing documents per GMP requirements.
4. Safety Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines in packing blocks.
- Monitor safety systems, report near-miss cases, and coordinate PPE availability.
- Reconcile monthly safety training attendance records.
5. Training & Staff Development
- Provide training to staff and workmen for packing activities and safety procedures.
- Conduct training on equipment handling, cGMP, documentation, and unit operations.
6. Process Improvement & Innovation
- Suggest new ideas to improve productivity and reduce process cycle time.
- Identify process complexities and simplify documentation for accuracy and ALCOA compliance.
Major Challenges & Solutions:
- Achieving shift targets with limited resources: resolved through efficient workload distribution.
- Maintaining cGMP during system downtime: overcome by coordinating with engineering and technical support teams.
Key Interactions:
- Daily: QA/QC, Safety, Store, Engineering.
- Need-Based: Maintenance contractors.
Performance Dimensions:
- Direct reports: 3
- Average volume: 200 mn units per year
- BPRs handled: 200 per month
