Job Description
This Pharma Fresher Job involves analyzing pharmaceutical patents, coding chemical compounds, and supporting Clarivate’s Derwent Innovation platform. As part of this Clarivate Career, you will gain hands-on experience in patent analysis, intellectual property, scientific content management, and pharmaceutical data while working with a global team. Key Responsibilities
- Code and index chemical compounds from patent documents.
- Analyze scientific and pharmaceutical patent content.
- Use ISIS Draw or Marvin JS for chemical structure interpretation.
- Conduct internet research and content analysis.
- Stay updated on developments in pharma, chemistry, and intellectual property.
- Continuously develop technical skills in patent analysis and data analysis.
- Work closely with the Pharma Chem team to maintain content quality.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B Pharm, M Pharm, M.Sc. Chemistry
- Experience: Freshers are eligible to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in pharma or chemistry content editing can also apply.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of patent analysis and intellectual property.
- Chemical structure drawing (ISIS Draw/Marvin JS).
- Understanding of IUPAC nomenclature and Markush structures.
- Knowledge of drugs and their therapeutic use.
- Strong analytical, research, and content writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Foreign language skills (German, French, Spanish, etc.) are an added advantage.
