Job Description
The Clinical Data Management Jobs within Clinical Data Sciences at Eli Lilly are responsible for delivering high-quality clinical trial data across the end-to-end data lifecycle. This includes study setup, conduct, closure, and regulatory submission. The Clinical Data Manager applies expertise in data integrity, blinding concepts, data collection and design, data flow management, and quality assurance to ensure accurate and regulatory-compliant clinical data. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners is essential for timely and high-quality study execution across trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and lead clinical data management activities across the study lifecycle.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of clinical data for regulatory submissions.
- Manage data acquisition, database design, validation, and dataset delivery aligned with protocol objectives.
- Drive study milestones, including clean file readiness and database lock timelines.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contribute to clinical data management strategy at study and program levels.
- Provide oversight of vendors, ensuring performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Support inspection readiness and regulatory activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master’s/Professional degree in Pharmacy, Health and Life Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Clinical Data Management.
Required Skills
- Experience across study and program-level delivery.
- Vendor management and external partner oversight experience.
- Exposure to inspection readiness and regulatory submissions.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end clinical data flow.
- Ability to work across various therapeutic areas.
- Willingness to travel based on business needs.
