Colgate Associate Scientist Job Description
In this Colgate Associate Scientist Job, the Associate Scientist leads end-to-end planning and implementation of all product development initiatives, including new products and relaunches, to achieve sustainable business growth. The Associate Scientist is responsible for maintaining compliance with all guidelines related to product safety, quality, and regulatory standards while ensuring smooth operations in pilot plant and technology transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead pilot plant operations and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage science and data analytics to identify potential problems or opportunities and create action plans.
- Support ongoing and new product development projects and initiatives.
- Utilize statistical approaches to experimental design to maximize learning.
- Ensure compliance with all product safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop capability to execute projects from conceptualization to implementation.
- Share technical knowledge and discoveries with colleagues through documentation and presentations.
- Lead supplier qualification programs for raw and packing materials.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: M.Sc. in
- Organic Chemistry, Pharma, or any related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum
- 2 years of industrial experience in formulation development in a reputed FMCG or Pharma company.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of Oral Care / Personal Care / Home Care Products.
- Experience in preparing supporting data for new product launches.
- Strong analytical ability and proven result orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or Pharmacy would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and/or experience specializing in
- Soap making, Surfactants, Oils & fats are highly preferred.
- Ability to build networks to stay updated with new technology trends.
- Strong business insight and understanding by partnering closely with commercial and supply chain functions.
