Job Description
This role involves the interpretation of clinical trial data across various therapeutic areas and actively contributes to the development of database products that support informed decision-making at different stages of clinical development and post-approval phases. Utilizing modeling and simulation approaches, the data analyst will apply profound knowledge of pharmacology and clinical research, along with experience in developing clinical databases for systematic literature review and meta-analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the development of clinical database products in various therapeutic areas, ensuring high quality that supports meta-analysis.
- Analyze and annotate information pertaining to trial design, treatments, demographics, and outcomes data from clinical literature.
- Digitize results from graphs for outcomes reported on various scales with precision.
- Maintain a high standard of quality in all tasks performed.
- Collaborate with lead consultants, peer data analysts, and quality managers to understand and contribute to database rules and specifications.
- Participate in relevant training programs to enhance skills in statistics, R coding, systematic literature review, and data analysis methods.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master’s in Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics, Pharma D, Clinical Practice, or Master’s in Public Health and Epidemiology.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in information science, systematic literature review, health economics, or public health sectors; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical research is essential.
- Familiarity with clinical development phases, trial designs, and pharmaceutical industry data standards.
- Knowledge of statistics and data management tools like R is an added advantage.
