Job Description
The Junior Research Fellow will support various research activities under the Centre of Precision Medicine and Pharmacy. This Pharma Government Job involves working on projects related to gene sequencing, molecular diagnostics, transcriptomics, proteomics, pharmaceutical research, formulation development, and translational medicine.
The selected Junior Research Fellow will participate in laboratory experiments, sample processing, data analysis, bioinformatics workflows, and scientific documentation. This Pharma Government Job offers exposure to modern research methodologies used in cancer research, infectious diseases, cardiovascular disorders, metabolic diseases, and personalized medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gene sequencing and genomic research activities as a Junior Research Fellow.
- Support transcriptomics and proteomics studies under this Pharma Government Job.
- Perform sample tracking, clinical metadata entry, and data collection.
- Process blood, tissue, fecal, and PBMC samples using laboratory protocols.
- Participate in RNA extraction, library preparation, and RNA-Seq workflows.
- Assist in analytical method development and validation using HPLC and LC-MS/MS techniques.
- Support formulation development and optimization studies.
- Conduct pre-formulation studies including solubility, stability, and compatibility testing.
- Assist in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies.
- Maintain SOPs, laboratory records, quality control documentation, and experiment logs.
- Contribute to bioinformatics, molecular docking, and virtual screening projects.
- Support translational research and precision medicine initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- First Class B Pharm with two years of experience in a hospital, Research Organization, or Industry, OR
- Postgraduate Degree in Pharmacy (M Pharm)
