PharSafer PV Vacancy: Job Description
The PharSafer pharmacovigilance job involves supporting the processing and quality review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), alongside MedDRA coding, follow-up and safety-report administration, while working with PV colleagues, physicians and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry and/or quality review of safety reports in assigned safety databases; check case information against source documents; raise queries; local processing where required.
- MedDRA coding per approved conventions; authorised case corrections and logical deletions with traceable records.
- Identify and request follow-up information, document attempts and responses, update reports and escalate delays.
- Monitor assigned Drug Safety mailboxes, route incoming information, download safety reports from EudraVigilance where authorised.
- Follow company procedures and client instructions; protect confidential information; complete required training.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy
- 2-3 years’ experience in Pharmacovigilance
- Practical knowledge of safety-report processing
- Working knowledge of MedDRA coding
- Existing right to work in India
Desirable:
- Understanding of clinical development and post-marketing drug safety
- Experience with Drug Safety mailboxes, follow-up or EudraVigilance report retrieval
