Job Description
The Specialist Local Medical Safety India will support local pharmacovigilance operations, ICSR management, aggregate reporting, regulatory compliance, safety monitoring, and risk management activities. This Pharmacovigilance Job involves ensuring compliance with local and global PV regulations, supporting safety reporting processes, managing pharmacovigilance agreements, and contributing to patient safety initiatives across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage local pharmacovigilance activities and PV systems.
- Ensure compliance with global and local safety regulations.
- Support implementation of pharmacovigilance procedures and policies.
- Review, collect, reconcile, and report ICSRs.
- Conduct follow-up activities and case management oversight.
- Monitor vendor compliance for safety reporting activities.
- Support audit and inspection readiness.
- Manage CAPAs, compliance findings, and quality improvements.
- Review safety compliance dashboards and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and track aggregate safety reports.
- Support local regulatory safety submissions.
- Implement updates related to pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Support local benefit-risk activities.
- Participate in safety signal evaluation and risk management processes.
- Communicate safety information to stakeholders and health authorities.
- Conduct AE/PQC safety training programs.
- Support distributor and vendor safety awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate with medical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
Eligibility Criteria For pharmacovigilance Job
- Education: Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, At least 1 year of Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety experience preferred.
