Positions: Project Research Scientist-II (Non-medical) and Project Research Scientist-III (Non-medical)
Vacancies:
- 01 (one) – UR (unreserved) for Project Research Scientist-II
- 01 (one) – UR (unreserved) for Project Research Scientist-III
Emoluments:
- Project Research Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000/- pm + HRA 30% @ Rs 20,100 pm = Rs. 87,100 pm (Year-I and II). Increment @ 5% on initial emoluments after completing every two years.
- Project Research Scientist-III: Rs. 78,000/- pm + HRA 30% @ Rs. 23,400 pm = Rs. 1,01,400 pm (Year-I and II). Increment @ 5% on initial emoluments after completing every two years.
*Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 35 years on the date of 30 September 2026
Minimum Qualification:
- Project Research Scientist-II: Post Graduate Degree (MSc or MS Pharm/M Pharm in Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry) with three years post qualification experience or Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
- Project Research Scientist-III: Post Graduate Degree in Pharmacology and Regulatory Toxicology with five years post qualification experience or Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology + two years post qualification experience.
Required Skills
- Project Research Scientist-II: Experience in synthetic organic chemistry, multi-step synthesis, rational drug design, and SAR development. Familiarity with modern characterization techniques including chromatography (HPLC/UPLC), spectroscopy (UV, IR, NMR, HRMS).
- Project Research Scientist-III: Experience in cancer drug discovery, NCE screening, in vitro cell culture studies, molecular biology, in vivo animal models, regulatory studies.
