Project Description
This Pharma Government Job involves advanced research in protein science, proteomics, molecular biology, and pre-clinical studies. The Post Doctoral Fellow will work on enzymatic protein modification, bioactive peptides, in-silico analysis, and experimental validation using modern biotechnological techniques.
The role is research-intensive and focuses on both laboratory experimentation and computational biology approaches to support innovation in nutrition and cosmeceutical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Research protein modification, hydrolysis, and bioactive peptides.
- Perform proteomics and bioinformatics-based analysis.
- Carry out in-silico studies, molecular docking, and computational modeling.
- Execute molecular biology techniques such as qRT-PCR, Western blotting, SDS-PAGE, and ELISA.
- Perform cell culture and laboratory-based experimental studies.
- Support pre-clinical validation and in vivo/ex vivo research activities.
- Analyze and interpret experimental research data.
- Contribute to scientific publications and research documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: PhD Pharmacology, Pharmacology
& Toxicology - NET/GATE qualification preferred.
- Strong research publication record preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (relaxation as per Government of India norms).
Desirable Skills
- Experience in proteomics, protein chemistry, and bioactive peptide research.
- Knowledge of bioinformatics, molecular docking, and in-silico tools.
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques (qRT-PCR, Western blot, ELISA).
- Experience in laboratory animal experimentation and pre-clinical studies.
- Strong cell culture and experimental research skills.
