Essential Qualification
- M.Sc. in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Phytochemistry / Industrial Chemistry from a recognized University; OR
- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from a recognized University; OR
- For Senior Project Associate (Position Code: 11002):
- M.Sc. in Pharmacy with 3 years of R&D experience in Industrial/Academic Institutions, S&T Organisations, or Scientific activities and services; OR
- Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy with 2 years of R&D experience in Industrial/Academic Institutions, S&T Organisations, or Scientific activities and services.
Desirable Qualification
- Experience in Organic Synthesis.
- Experience in Membrane Filtration and Chromatographic Separation at laboratory or pilot scale with research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Hands-on experience operating HPLC independently for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Working knowledge of ANOVA, Python, or MATLAB.
- Experience working in an R&D Institute with analytical techniques and Natural Product Chemistry.
General Instruction
- Reporting Time: Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM on the respective interview dates will not be permitted to appear.
- Application Format: Eligible candidates should download the prescribed application form from www.ihbt.res.in, affix a latest passport-size colored photograph, and bring self-attested photocopies of certificates (age, qualification, experience, etc.) along with original testimonials to the Walk-in Interview.
- Separate Applications: Candidates applying for more than one Position Code must submit separate application forms for each code.
- Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
- Nature of Engagement: Purely temporary and co-terminus with project tenure. It confers no right or claim for permanent absorption or regularization in CSIR-IHBT.
- No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
- Performance Review: Performance will be evaluated every 6 months; unsatisfactory performance may result in termination.
