Role Purpose:
The Scientific Writer will prepare scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and presentations, ensuring balanced, accurate, and timely communication of clinical and health-outcome data across the drug development lifecycle.
Education:
Master’s degree in a scientific field
Primary Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Document Management:

Collect, evaluate, and synthesize data from multiple sources for cohesive content strategies.

Plan, author, edit, review, and finalize scientific publications.

Conduct kick-off meetings to align authoring teams.

Ensure data are clear, accurate, balanced, and consistent across documents.

Coordinate expert reviews, incorporate feedback, and perform quality checks.

Develop presentations with internal and external speakers.

Manage vendor and alliance partner relationships, as needed.
Project & Stakeholder Management:

Lead writing projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Communicate project timelines, anticipate risks, and escalate issues.

Effectively update stakeholders on project progress.
Knowledge & Skills Development:

Maintain therapeutic area knowledge and scientific communication skills.

Apply publication guidelines and participate in publication planning.

Adapt across document types, therapeutic areas, and compounds.
Knowledge Sharing:

Provide coaching, guidance, and best-practice sharing.

Recognized for technical expertise in document development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in scientific writing and publication development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Successful completion of a writing exercise as part of evaluation
Additional Preferences:

Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, PharmD) or health-related disciplines

Expertise in health outcomes, health economics, public health, or medical communications

Experience in clinical development, trials, or regulatory activities
