PV Officer Job Description
In this PV Officer job, the successful candidate will perform activities within the ICSR management unit, including but not limited to:
- Processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from all sources in compliance with applicable regulations and PrimeVigilance procedures.
- Performing ICSR follow-up and SAE/SUSAR Management.
- Conducting reconciliation (clinical, partners) and managing medical device safety/incident reports.
- Performing quality review/QC of medical device cases.
- Handling Product Quality Complaints and interacting with Quality Assurance.
- Conducting mentoring and training of new and junior employees within the department.
Eligibility Criteria
- Life science graduate, pharmacy, nursing, or other healthcare-related qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in pharmacovigilance and medical device vigilance.
- Good working knowledge of EU MDR (2017/745) and medical device vigilance concepts.
- Experience with global/European medical device cases and safety databases.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Advanced literacy in MS Office.
