TMC-ACTREC (Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, Tata Memorial Centre) is a grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, dedicated to advancing cancer research and education. Job Details:
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2027
- Stipend: ₹37,000 + HRA per month (HRA applicable only if hostel is not opted)
Eligibility:
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- BS (Research) 4-year / B.S./B.Sc with UG 4-year/8-semester including 1 year of research, minimum 75% aggregate or equivalent CGPA; or
- M.Sc in Applied Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Botany, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Zoology or related biological sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computational Biology, or M.Phil / M.Tech / M.V.Sc / M.Pharm or equivalent, with minimum 55% aggregate.
Candidates awaiting results may apply. One-year post-graduate courses are not eligible. HBNI criteria apply.
Selection Process:
For TMC-ACTREC JRF 2027, selection will be based on an online objective entrance exam scheduled for 3 January 2027 (9 am–12 noon) at 11 centres across India. There will be a direct interview route for holders of valid national JRFs (CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT etc.), DST-INSPIRE fellows, and qualified JGEEBILS candidates.

- Interviews: First and second week of April 2027
