Job Description
- Develop high-quality scientific and medical content across various therapeutic areas.
- Conduct literature reviews and analyze scientific data from reliable sources.
- Create clear, accurate, and audience-friendly healthcare and pharmaceutical documents.
- Contribute to medical, clinical, regulatory, educational, safety, and promotional projects.
- Review, edit, proofread, and verify content to maintain high medical writing standards.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality, compliance, and business value.
Key Responsibilities
Literature Reviews & Research
- Conduct literature reviews using scientific databases such as PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library.
- Analyse clinical and scientific data to generate meaningful insights.
- Stay updated on treatment guidelines, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Medical & Scientific Content Development
- Create, edit, and review high-quality scientific and medical content.
- Prepare documents such as literature reviews, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, white papers, and guideline summaries.
- Ensure content is scientifically accurate, clear, and compliant with industry standards.
Content Review & Quality Assurance
- Review medical and promotional materials for quality and compliance.
- Verify references and ensure plagiarism-free content.
- Maintain consistency in formatting, style, and documentation standards.
Project Management
- Understand client requirements and project objectives.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting quality and timeline expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver project outcomes.
Team & Professional Development
- Mentor and support team members when required.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in learning and development activities to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- M Pharm
- Related Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Disciplines
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical, OTC, and healthcare industries.
- Understanding of medical, scientific, and statistical concepts.
- Experience in scientific writing, literature reviews, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of clinical studies, SLR, TLR, and Meta-analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online research tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of regulatory documentation and compliance requirements.
- Experience with reference management tools such as EndNote, Zotero, and Mendeley.
- Familiarity with statistical and data analysis tools like SPSS, SAS, R, and GraphPad Prism.
- Exposure to scientific storytelling, text mining, and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Veeva Vault, PubPro, and DataVision.
