The Advarra Coverage Analyst II role involves reviewing clinical trial protocols and determining how medical procedures and services should be categorized for clinical trial billing. - Determine which medical procedures or services may qualify as routine costs and which should be billed to the study sponsor.
- Research and apply relevant policies, regulations, guidance, and guidelines.
- Independently evaluate which clinical services should be considered routine care.
- Document coverage analyses and supporting information in the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS).
- Train and mentor new team members on coverage analysis processes, tools, and quality requirements.
- Support continuous process improvement and reduction of recurring errors.
