Job Description
The IIT Kharagpur Project Associate-I will be involved in research focused on developing an organ-on-chip device to model drug-induced liver injury. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and will provide opportunities for advanced research in biomedical engineering and related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on organ-on-chip technology.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop and optimize experimental protocols.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on findings.
- Assist in the preparation of research publications and presentations.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Support the Principal Investigator in administrative tasks related to the project.
- Engage in knowledge dissemination through workshops and seminars.
Eligibility Criteria for Project Associate-I
- Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B. Pharm or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Maximum Age: 35 years (Age rules may be relaxed upon fulfilling sponsor agency rules, if any).
Salary
Proposed Fellowship: Up to Rs. 37,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through (a) CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or (b) a selection process through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions. Rs. 30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above.
