Research Objectives
The project focuses on developing diagnostic solutions for antibiotic-resistant Salmonella strains. The proposed research activities include:
- Molecular cloning
- Protein expression
- Protein purification
- Antigen-Antibody (Ag-Ab) reactions
- ELISA development
- Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) development
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct molecular cloning and protein expression.
- Develop and optimize Ag-Ab reactions.
- Assist in the development of ELISA and LFA kits.
- Perform protein characterization and purification.
- Document experimental procedures and results.
- Collaborate with team members on project objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on research findings.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B Pharma (with valid GPAT)
- Experience: Experience in cloning, expression, and purification of proteins from bacteria. Preference will be given to candidates with CSIR/UGC/DBT-JRF fellowships.
Desirable Skills
JRF Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Bacterial cloning
- Protein expression
