Labcorp Data Specialist Job Description
The Labcorp Data Specialist III role focuses on clinical data management, data transfer specifications, client data support, and cross-functional coordination. The position serves as a data liaison between Data Management and other Labcorp departments, supporting study startup, data-transfer setup, ongoing study maintenance, quality checks, client communications, and end-to-end data management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create protocol folders for study documentation and maintain protocol spreadsheets.
- Coordinate start-up packet delivery and contact clients for initial study discussions.
- Act as a liaison between Data Management and other Labcorp departments.
- Build and modify data transfer formats and perform quality control of test files.
- Create global transmission instructions and address data errors and client queries.
- Support end-to-end data lock activities and assist Clinical Data Management during audits.
- Maintain auditable documentation and support new service requests.
- Assist with billing activities where required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent education.
- 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Experience in laboratory data management or programming is a plus.
- Client-facing experience is desirable.
