GOglobal Trainee Program Description
The GOglobal Trainee program has three rotations: R&D CMS functions in Bangalore, an international assignment at a Merck subsidiary abroad, and a return to Bangalore.
The trainee works with Clinical Pharmacology, Translational Quantitative Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Biomarkers and Real-World Evidence teams, and contributes to publications and conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Model-informed drug development (MIDD)
- Population PK and PK/PD modelling
- Exposure-response analysis
- Disease progression models
- Clinical trial simulation and model-based meta-analysis
- Contributing to publications and conferences
Eligibility Criteria
PhD in Pharmacometrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related discipline, or in the final stages of one. Exceptional Master’s candidates with a strong quantitative research foundation may be considered.
Required Skills
- Mathematical/statistical programming (e.g. NONMEM, R, Monolix)
- A basic understanding of clinical pharmacology
