Job Description
The selected candidate for the NIPER recruitment will be involved in a project entitled “Iron-Catalyzed Synthesis of Heterocycles for Antibacterial Studies.” This position is temporary and initially lasts until the walk-in interview, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The role requires participation in research related to stem cell culture and animal handling, along with maintaining lab records and contributing to departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or MS (Pharm.) / M.Pharm. / M.Tech. with Process Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
- Experience in organic synthesis, characterization of compounds, and catalytic reactions.
- Full-time engagement on a temporary basis until 31 March 2027.
- Previous experience in organic synthesis is preferred.

The duly filled application form must be submitted at the time of registration from 02:30 PM to 03:00 PM at the Recruitment Cell of the Institute.

- Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may appear for a walk-in interview on 25 August 2026 (Tuesday) from 03:00 PM onwards at the office of Dr. Srimanta Manna, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, NIPER-SAS Nagar. The application form must be submitted during registration from 02:30 PM to 03:00 PM at the Recruitment Cell. The application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s website.
- Documents Required: Candidates must bring attested copies of testimonials, degrees, and certificates supporting their qualifications and experience. Original documents must also be presented at the time of the interview.
- Application Fee: A Demand Draft in favor of ‘Director, NIPER-SAS Nagar’ is required at the time of the interview. The application fee is Rs. 500/- for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST/PWD/female candidates are exempted.
