Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of medical and pharmacy policies from various US Health Insurance Companies.
- Assess policies based on payer coverage criteria, formulary status, prior authorization, step therapy, and utilization management restrictions.
- Utilize analytics tools and methodologies to generate insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize business processes and rules.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation related to policy assessments and compliance activities.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, adhoc projects, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacology, Dentistry, or related field).
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Pharma/Healthcare.
- Certification in SQL, Power BI, or similar technical skills preferred.
- Prior experience in the corporate healthcare industry required.
- Knowledge of healthcare policy, insurance, compliance, and US healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with FDA databases, Redbook, and clinical labels preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python is desirable.
