Job Description
Sun Pharma is seeking a Senior Officer – QC to perform analytical testing of APIs, intermediates, raw materials, recovered solvents, and in-process samples using HPLC and wet laboratory techniques. The role involves laboratory instrument calibration, sample handling, documentation, inventory management, cGxP compliance, safety monitoring, and maintaining high-quality standards in the Quality Control laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing of APIs, intermediates, raw materials, and in-process samples.
- Conduct HPLC and wet laboratory analysis as per approved specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate HPLC and laboratory instruments.
- Perform daily and weekly calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor laboratory temperature and humidity records.
- Issue analytical raw data sheets and laboratory logbooks.
- Manage laboratory chemical and HPLC inventory.
- Handle, store, and dispose of laboratory samples as per SOPs.
- Maintain accurate analytical documentation.
- Participate in technical training and skill development.
- Ensure compliance with cGxP and laboratory safety standards.
- Verify cleaning records and destruction of GxP documents.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B Pharm or M.Sc degree.
- Experience: 2–5 years of Quality Control experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in analytical testing and HPLC operations.
